Die letzte Einfind-Station der Zukunftsvögel war das Impulszentrum Holdenweid in Hölstein (Baselland), das als ehemalige und mit viel Sorgfalt verwandelte Psychiatrische Anstalt etwas kann, was wir in vielerlei Hinsicht erst noch am Lernen sind. Es ist EIN Gebäude, wo jedes Zimmer in EIGEN&ARTiger Weise einer eigenen «Realität» Raum gibt und uns damit einlädt, diese wieder neu zu konfigurieren.
Ein Raum aus Zeit, Begegnung, Inspiration, Ungewohntem, Philosophischem, Berührendem, Verwandelndem & Träumerischem. Ein echter Raum der Ver[H/W]andlung unserer Perspektiven auf uns selbst und auf die Welt.
Vom 24.-27. April 2025 erlebten wir hier eine vogeltastische, un.spektakuläre Fulminalität.

The Afterglow
Diving in
To think back to those days we shared is to feel. How a tender afterglow caresses skin and mind like a warm summer breeze. Singing birds are now distinctive reminders, chanting stories worth tuning in to. Some reverberating like an album of past memories, others as adventures yet to be told.

For the space you took, offered, held and gave. In your agendas, hearts, thoughts, care and literal rooms.
We wholeheartedly want to express our deep gratitude to all of you. The trustful vibe, the deep conversations, and the powerful presence in the now — where we met each other more as honest humans than as heroic world-saviours. It was truly moving. Also everybody’s intuitive feel for the smooth dance between being guided and self-organized co-cre:action. Sometimes it felt as if things arranged themselves by magic, without being pushed or planned. It could be called «emergence», right? 🙂
Pathways ahead
We think about the Agora of Future Birds as a space out of the ordinary. An invitation for our minds & hearts to expand, play and explore beyond the usual. The strategic idea behind it is that those new connections that might emerge, are of galactic value. And that perhaps one of them tickles us so badly we can’t resist but to find a way to give it terrestrial shape.
Post-Agora
We’ve transitioned.
No longer is the Agora of the Future Birds a destination unfamiliar to our compasses. Though we might still struggle to enter its coordinates into cartographies like Google maps, we now know something about the journey.
Either way, it never was about arriving. But about the journey of the thousand open threads awaiting their turn to be woven into place. Infinite datapoints interchanging as we co-orient ourselves through the shapes of the everyday, noticing its cracks and gaps as spaces and interruptions of possibility. In conversations, longings, imaginations, norms and all the different kinds of turbulance we might encounter along the way.
«For what?» it asks in complete off-beat.
What, if anything at all, could ever constitute a satisfactory answer? And as the question is asked from figures living outside, they will not be able to see what makes sense from within.
«What now, then?»
Easy. linger and marinate. Breath. Be present, feel and navigate. All the information is right there.

Mit einem Höchstmass an Vorfreude hiessen wir am Samstagabend das Elektro-Downtempo-Duo Santi & Tuğçe willkommen. Ihre Musik brachte eine Mischung aus intensiver Kraft und zarter Schönheit in die Holdenweid und lockte auch zahlreiche Gäste und Fans türkischer Musik an, deren Tanzbeine sich mit den Flügeln der Zukunftsvögel geschmeidig verwoben haben.
